NABB works cooperatively with city, state, and local community representatives and leaders to address and effect change on issues of importance to Back Bay residents, as well as residents in all neighborhoods throughout the city of Boston and statewide. Among many other organizations, NABB has partnered with the Back Bay Association, the Women’s Lunch Place, the Boston Public Library in Copley Square and Friends of the Public Garden.

In the past year and a half alone, the organizations listed below, and others have recognized NABB as a trusted and respected partner for the effective work its dedicated members do to benefit Back Bay residents, the city of Boston and communities across the state:

  • In June 2022 the Pine Street Inn awarded NABB the “Good Neighbor Award” for its support of the Pine Street’s work to end homelessness, and, in particular, for NABB’s support of the 140 Clarendon Street affordable housing development project, the first of its kind in the Back Bay in over forty years
  • Also in June 2022, in concert with the Pine Street Inn Award, the Massachusetts State Legislature issued a Letter of Commendation for NABB’s support of neighborhood efforts to increase supportive and affordable housing
  • In November 2021, the Back Bay Association awarded NABB its “Heavy Lifting Award” in recognition of NABB’s many years of exemplary work in the Back Bay neighborhood and with other City-wide initiatives
  • In September of 2021, the Gibson House Museum honored NABB for “its steadfast commitment to preserving the Back Bay’s distinctive architectural beauty and residential character”.

NABB would like to thank the generous sponsors that supported the Harvest Festival event held at Women’s Lunch Place on November 14, 2024:
