Alert!
Come learn how The Back Bay Block Captains Program is working with the City of Boston’s Garbage to Garden residential composting provider to support buildings with six (6) units or fewer, reduce food waste in residential trash, decrease the amount of food available for rodents in the area and leveraging #311 to care for your neighborhood blocks.
Who should attend?
Current and potential Back Bay Block Captains and residents living in buildings with six (6) units or fewer are encouraged to attend.
This will be a 2-part call with 30 minutes per segment.
Part 1: In Boston, the curbside collection of food waste is growing. There are two new containers for residents in buildings with six (6) units or fewer. Helpful tips and tricks to improve your composting experience will also be provided.
Part 2: Back Bay Block Captains will receive updates on our recent #311 activity and share best practices. Residents are encouraged to listen and learn about the Block Captain Program and how local captains care for their neighborhood blocks.
Register here in advance for this meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
