Household Hazardous Waste Disposal on May 23

If you are getting around to your spring cleaning, please be reminded of the household trash and recycling regulations in the City of Boston. In particular, special care must be given the disposal of hazardous waste.

The City has several dates where you can:

  • safely dispose of hazardous waste
  • shred unwanted documents
  • get rid of textiles and clothing
  • recycle electronics

The next date is May 23, 2023.

You must be a Boston resident and you will need to bring proof of residency.
